At Odi ("we", "our", or "us", developed by Aboptima), your privacy is our core priority. We believe language learning should be safe, private, and distraction-free.

This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your information. In short: we do not collect, sell, or monetize your personal data. Your voice, learning streak, and progress belong entirely to you.

2. Microphone and Voice Data

Odi includes interactive speaking exercises designed to help you practice and evaluate your Serbian pronunciation.

• Real-time Audio Processing: When you press the microphone button in a speaking exercise, your audio is analyzed in real time exclusively to assess pronunciation accuracy against the target phrase.
• No Permanent Audio Recordings: We do NOT record, save, store, or transmit your voice recordings to any private server or third-party database.
• Speech Recognition Service: Speech-to-text conversion is handled natively via your operating system's built-in framework (such as Apple's native SFSpeechRecognizer). This processing adheres directly to Apple's stringent platform privacy guidelines.
• Permissions: You can revoke microphone and speech recognition permissions at any time through your device's Settings > Odi.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

To provide offline accessibility and track your learning progress, Odi stores the following data locally on your device:

• Vocabulary mastery states and Spaced Repetition (SRS) interval schedules.
• Lesson completion status and daily streak counters.
• Your preferred app settings (e.g., voice playback rate, sound preferences).

This data is stored securely in your device's local sandbox storage using Isar Database and is deleted if you uninstall the application.

4. Third-Party Services and Analytics

Odi does not use third-party advertising networks, user tracking SDKs, or data brokers. We do not track you across other applications or websites.

Standard anonymous crash logs and diagnostic metrics may be collected by Apple (if you have opted-in to share diagnostics with app developers in your iOS settings) to help us identify bugs and improve app stability.

5. Children's Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13. Because no personal information is requested or collected, Odi is safe for learners of all ages.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect improvements in our app or changes in legal regulations. Any updates will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
